The NECC Society (NECCS) is responsible for the community portion of the NE Centre of Community, which is set to enter the detailed design phase soon. That means we have a lot of work to do! If you would like to take part in this exciting project, we have many opportunities available for you.
Become a Board Member
NECCS is currently looking to expand its board. We especially need people with skills in the following areas: accounting, bookkeeping, building construction, building design, engineering, legal, communication, fund raising, and human resources.
Assist the Design Committee
We are also looking for volunteers to act as resources to the design committee. We need people with expertise in architecture, construction, engineering or design, and who would be willing to share that expertise with our design committee when needed.
Help with Fund Raising
We are looking for a campaign coordinator (paid position) to assist us with our $15M fund raising campaign. If you know of anyone with this kind of experience, please ask them to contact us. We could also use some volunteers for the public phase of the campaign, which will be starting soon.
Volunteer for the Annual Golf Tournament
Our golf committee is gearing up for our second annual golf tournament to be held in the summer. We need people to help out in many different ways—to help organize, obtain and pick up prizes, and to help out on the day itself. We are looking for people with a few hours to spare, and we can use your help, even if you aren’t a golfer!
