Development permits have been issued for two new schools; a public school at 95 Saddlecrest Terrace NE and a separate school at 6270 Saddlehorn Dr NE. These schools are in the early planning stages and will not likely be open for a couple of years. We will keep you informed when more details are available. The best news is that they are actually going to be built.
Our annual membership drive is once again in full swing. If you have not renewed your membership or if you have never had a family membership this is the year to get one. It’s only $10. Email the SRCA at saddleridgecommunity@shaw.ca.

Our Movie-in-the-Park is quickly becoming a reality. The date is August 17, 2008. The location is close to being announced but at this time I will have to keep you waiting.
If you get a chance to drive by the Saddle Ridge Hall, you will notice that the old hockey rink is no longer there. I have lived in the community for almost five years now and I have never seen anyone use it. Does anyone know the last time it was used?
