We hope that all of the residents within our three communities are enjoying our new community news magazine. This and many other activities are run and supported by our tireless volunteers. Volunteers play a vital role in all aspects of life. It’s so important to give a little of yourself and the rewards far outweigh the effort that was put in. Even if you may think it will not make a difference, it will and the whole community will reap the rewards.
It may be volunteering in your child’s school or shoveling your neighbour’s sidewalk. We want to make our communities the best communities in Calgary to live in and we can’t do that alone. There are many ways you can get involved and we are always looking for more volunteers. Maybe you have a particular expertise and could give a couple hours of yourself once a month, we would be more than happy to hear from you! Actually once you start volunteering, you will not be able to stop and many friends are made this way. We hope to see you out in our community.
Currently we are holding our meetings in the upstairs boardroom at the Taradale Co-op on the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 7 pm. You are more than welcome to come and join us.
