Spring Time in Taradale/Taravista

By Ann-Marie Sperling

Welcome all readers! Especially all of the Taravista readers – know that you are included in the Taradale section of this newsletter. We hope you have been enjoying reading our community newsletter.

Spring is a time for change and growth. Taradale is a growing community with new developments, including in and around the lake.

As spring is now approaching, we are looking for new volunteers to help in a number of events in the upcoming month. One of the events is a golf tournament,
which will be held on July 30th. For more details, please see our ad.

I have been living in Taravista for over three years and in the time I’ve lived here I have seen how much it has grown. When I first moved to Taravista, a new Co-op was built with a plaza. Now I can the see the growth in Saddle Ridge with a new Safeway within a strip mall. Coming soon will be a new video store and emergency services with an ambulance, police and a fire station.

I love living here because now with the McKnight/Westwinds train station I can commute to work much faster and easier.

If you have any questions relating to Taradale or Taravista please do not hesitate to contact us at taradaleca@shaw.ca. We look forward to hearing from you.
