Tuesday, April 22 is Earth Day and communities around the globe will be celebrating with a variety of events and programs. Here in Saddle Ridge your community association is sponsoring the second annual Earth Day Pond Clean Up. If you’re looking for a way to mark this day why not gather up the family and join us at one of the ponds in Saddle Ridge?
Meet your friends and neighbours at either the waterfall on the pond in Hugh Bennett Park, or at the basketball hoop near Saddlecrest Pond. Our clean up will start at 6 p.m. and go until 8 p.m. Come for the entire time or drop-in when you can. The City of Calgary will provide gloves and clean up supplies. Refreshments will be served. For more information contact the Community Association at saddleridgecommunity@shaw.ca
