President’s Message – Taradale

By James Manley

As this is our first newsletter I would like to welcome you to the Community of Taradale.

As we ring in a new year, it begins another busy year for your currently elected board members, working to improve the area we all live in. We have a busy schedule for 2008, with new developments within and around our area, from new housing, schools, emergency service center, and the North East Center of Communities.

We are currently looking for new members, board members and volunteers to help with this busy year.

Some of the current tasks put forth to the board are: general clean up, appearance and overall pride within our community. As well as working with several different departments within the City of Calgary from development permits, parks & recreation, bylaws, emergency service, and our newly elected Alderman.

Our board members meet regularly every second Wednesday of each month. If you wish to attend please email taradaleca@shaw.ca. Please include in your email your questions or concerns so we may be proactive in
having answers for you.
